Well, we are almost ready to go, its late on Thursday evening and I am just about to finish at work.
Up early tomorrow, print off BA tickets for the flight from Gatwick to Bordeaux, then off to Ronaldsway Airport, Isle of Man, for the EasyJet flight to Gatwick.
The only problem with living on the Island is that you cannot guarantee the flight off the island, so it is always better to travel everywhere a day earlier in ordr to be certain of making the connecting flight, its the price we have to pay to live on the lovely Island I suppose.
Anyway, we are staying in a Travelodge at Gatwick before the 0650hrs flight on Saturday. I have liased with Kit, the owner of Villa Shambhala. We can have the Villa from 4pm so we have decided to pick up the hire car at the airport and make drive to a Park and Ride in Bordeaux, and then catch the tram into the city. Neither of us have been to Bordeaux before so we will hopefully enjoy this fine city.
Really looking forward to getting some photos of the Villa and when I do I will post them on here for you all to appreciate how lucky we were that Chris won this great prize.
